About Cordelia

What is your background?

I was born in Cheshire and brought up in Alderley Edge. Having studied in Canada and Oxford, I initially pursued a career in Paediatric nursing before taking a Higher National Diploma in photography.

Why did you pursue a career in photography?

I have always been interested in photography and fascinated by images, especially those of people and how they interact with each other - I wanted to learn more and develop my skills, and so decided to take it up professionally rather than as a hobby.

What motivates you?

Through my experience in Paediatric nursing, I have come to realise how fragile life can be and therefore just how important it is to pursue your ambitions.

How would you describe yourself?

Sporty and with a natural affinity for everything outdoors, I am ambitious and always willing to take on new projects. I believe in what I do, and make every effort to create new ideas for both my photographs and overall presentation.
